Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information Wheadons Removals & Storage collects when you use this website to request a quote or get in touch, how we use it, and your rights.
Who we are
Wheadons Removals & Storage, The Yard, Snow Hill, Crawley Down, Felbridge, Crawley RH10 3EG. You can contact us about privacy at info@wheadonsremovals.co.uk or on 01342 712354.
What we collect
When you request a quote, we collect the details you choose to give us. This is usually your name, email address and phone number; your current and new addresses; information about the property and the items to be moved or stored; your preferred dates; and anything you add in the comments.
How we use it
- to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote
- to arrange and carry out the services you book with us
- to keep records we're required to keep, for example for accounting
We use your information because it's needed to take steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and to perform that contract. We don't use it for marketing, and we never sell it.
Who we share it with
We only share your information where it's needed to provide our service (for example, with our email provider, which receives your enquiry on our behalf) or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
If you don't go ahead with a booking, we delete your enquiry once it's no longer needed. If you do book with us, we keep the records needed for the job and for our accounts for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do any of these, contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
