Completion dates have a habit of moving. Tell us as soon as yours changes, and if your new home isn't ready, your belongings can wait in a storage room at our yard until it is.

How we price a move

Every removal is quoted individually, because no two moves are the same. The main things that affect the price are:

  • how much there is to move, which is why we ask about the number of rooms
  • the distance between the two properties
  • access at both ends: stairs, lifts, parking and the distance from the door to the van
  • large, heavy or awkward items
  • whether you'd like us to pack, and whether anything needs storing

How far ahead should I book?

As soon as you have a likely date. Fridays and the end of the month are popular for completions, so those days go first. If your date isn't confirmed, get in touch anyway so we can plan around it.

Do I have to pack everything myself?

No. We offer a packing service where our team packs your home for you. Some people have us pack the kitchen and breakables and do the rest themselves. Just tell us what you'd like.

What if my new home isn't ready on the day?

We can take your belongings into storage at our yard in Crawley Down and deliver them when you're ready to move in.

Are my belongings insured during the move?

We're fully insured. If you have anything especially valuable or fragile, mention it when you request your quote so we can talk you through how it'll be handled and covered.
